Citta Mandir Vikas Foundation is dedicated to building Mandirs in rural, tribal, and forest-dwelling regions of Bharat. Our work is rooted in faith, culture, and long-term social responsibility. We believe that Mandirs are not merely places of worship, but enduring centers of spiritual strength, cultural identity, and social unity.
In many parts of rural India—especially in tribal and forest-based settlements—there is still a deep absence of Mandirs. Faith exists. Devotion exists. Reverence for tradition exists. Yet, there is no sacred space that binds this faith into a shared spiritual life.
The tribal community has historically been close to nature, deeply spiritual, and respectful of tradition. However, due to poverty, lack of resources, and decades of neglect, these communities have been unable to build Mandirs on their own.
Despite this, one desire remains constant: “There should be a Mandir in our hamlet, in our village—a place for our deity.” Citta Mandir Vikas Foundation was formed to respond to this heartfelt need.
In recent years, many tribal regions have witnessed increased external religious influence. With the support of large foreign-funded networks, organised efforts involving inducements, misrepresentation, and material assistance have intensified. While churches are increasingly visible in several remote villages, Mandirs are often completely absent. In this context, strengthening the religious and cultural foundation of Hindu society in tribal areas is not optional—it is a necessity of our time.
A Mandir is not just a structure for ritual worship. Establishing Mandirs village by village is a positive, long-term, and sustainable solution to preserve Dharma and strengthen community life.
A Mandir is:
