Shiv Mandir Pran Pratishta Ceremony
The Pran Pratishta ceremony of the Kanakveershwar Shiv Mandir at Pendhari village (Waghachi Wadi), Taluka Murbad, was successfully completed in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. This marks the fourth Mandir constructed by Citta Mandir Vikas Foundation. Despite numerous challenges during construction, the Mandir was completed with dedication and collective effort. The celebrations began with a grand procession of the idols through Pendhari, Waghachi Wadi, and Umbarwadi villages. Villagers welcomed the deities with devotion, decorating the streets with rangoli and participating enthusiastically. The consecration rituals were conducted by Mahesh Mandalik Guruji and fellow priests over two days, including sacred ceremonies, idol purification rituals, and Vedic procedures. On the final day, the idols of Lord Shiva (Shivling), Parvati, and Ganapati were ceremonially installed inside the sanctum, while Nandi Maharaj was placed outside the temple. The temple kalash (spire finials) were installed with the blessings of respected spiritual leaders.
The first Aarti was performed following the installation, and Mahaprasad was served to all attendees. Spiritual guidance was shared with villagers regarding maintaining the sanctity and responsibility of the Mandir. Several donors and well-wishers were acknowledged for their generous contributions toward the construction. The event witnessed active participation from villagers, foundation members, and volunteers from Mumbai, making it a truly collective and joyous occasion. The ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of unity, devotion, and renewed cultural strength. Har Har Mahadev
